^ Yeah, I realised this particular depressing gem when I was sixteen and went to a Hole show. They were looking for a new member or had just been looking for a new member or whatever, I don’t remember, but anyway Courtney went “you gotta be a girl. You gotta have ovaries.”
And I remember being like what the fuck, because even in January 1999 I knew that HEY CLOVE THESE ARE SEPARATE CATEGORIES THAT OFTEN BUT DO NOT ALWAYS INTERSECT. :|
