I think clusterfuck-sci-fi-novel’s name is going to be Candy Butchers.
Though that’s such a fabulous term I bet someone else has used it already for a title, because seriously.
It’s late-19th/early-20th century slang for people who sold popcorn and sweets at carnival and circus sideshows.
But yeah I think I’mma use it because it sounds sickly-creepy-sweet and fucked up as all shit, which everything I write has a tendency to veer towards.
And I’m putting robot kissing in it just for Audz and Beckah because I am a terrible person but a good friend.

Speaking from experience I think the term has some modern day resonance too. Our candy in now made by corporations and the decisions they make in regards to that can be quiet mercenary and bloody. Fantastic Title!
